The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for this job include the following: • Minimum 2-5 years communications and/or social media experience. • Strong customer service orientation and working knowledge of major customer service functions. • Experience working with a team on complex communications projects under budget and often tight deadlines. • Strong communication, writing and editing skills. • Ability to process and respond to information quickly. • Ability to develop and manage network of contacts for information gathering, approvals and dissemination. • Knowledge of social media engagement platforms. • Willingness and ability to keep pace with change. • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently. • Ability to adhere to deadlines and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously. 

This role will respond to customer and stakeholder inquiries and comments posted to company social media pages and also helps support the social media strategy for customer satisfaction and assistance when it comes to company goals, policy, strategy, events and projects. Identifies customer service issues and escalates to appropriate resources quickly, while managing timely responses to all inquiries. Responds to customers via social media, when assigned, with concise and accurate information in a timely and friendly manner. May work with the media relations and customer service teams, as well as other internal stakeholders, when it comes to news media engagement and public inquiries. Also may assist with social media reporting and engagement platform workflow and maintenance.
